Selling Motorcycle on eBay Guide - Figure Out the Minimum Price for Your Motorcycle

First, figure out what is the minimum amount of money you would be happy to get for your motorcycle. Of course, you need to know the blue book value of your motorcycle in order to answer that question.

You can use many online sources to figure out what your motorcycle is worth. Kelly Blue Book is my first choice for the blue book value to use on motorcycles. You can find it at www.kbb.com. National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) is my second source for the motorcycle blue book value.

Completed listings on eBay would be my third source to find the true motorcycle resale value for your bike (you need to be registered with eBay to be able to do this - see our Register page for help). Go to motors.shop.ebay.com/items/Motorcycles__?_rdc=1, select your motorcycle brand under Make on the left, choose your model year, scroll down to Search Options on the left side, and click on See Completed Items. eBay will prompt you to sign in to your account, go ahead and sign in. Then, you should see all the completed motorcycle auctions, how many bids they had, and for how much they got sold. In this list motorcycles with prices printed in green color got sold; motorcycles with red prices didn't get sold because either no one bidded or bought them, or the price didn't reach the seller's reserve price.
